I finally visited the capital city of Sweden. I might not be able to experience everything in this city but I am hoping that I will be backed there again in the future to see the most of it. Stockholm was one of the cities we visited during that Baltic cruise holiday last summer 2013. It was a dream came true to me after visiting many places in my bucketlist last year. Visiting 23 countries and many places in Europe made 2013 the most travelled year I had. It was indeed a history!
Skeppsbron, known as “The Ship’s Bridge” is both a street and a quay in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm. It is stretching from the bridge Strömbron in front of the Royal Palace southward to Slussen. (more…)

Las Vegas, the dream destination of many. In deed, I am very lucky to visit this fabulous city twice. Thanks to my dear siblings who sponsored for my trips. Las Vegas is known as “The Entertainment Capital of the World”. It is famous for shopping, fine dining, gambling and nightlife. No wonder, it is visited my millions of tourists and locals each year.
There are many entertainments you can experience in Las Vegas. In fact, there are a lot of free shows and attractions you can experience in this city. Among the few ones are the live bands in Fremont Street Experience, the Dancing Fountain of Bellagio, the Volcano at the Mirage, the Conservatory at Bellagio, the Sirens of Treasure Island, Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo and many more. Have you been to this beautiful city of Barcelona? I am glad, I did and I truly love this amazing capital of Catalonia. It is also the largest city of this region and the second largest in Spain. It is a historic city dating back being at least 2,000 years when it gained prominence as a Roman city. It hosted the 1992 Olympic Games which brought a massive upturn in its tourism industry.
The entrance of the Park Guell and the view of Barcelona from the terrace of the park. Taken during my visit in summer 2012.
Barcelona is one of the world’s major global cities. It is one of the world’s leading tourist, economic and cultural centers. No wonder many tourists around the world including myself would love to visit it. (more…)

It was over a month now since I and a good friend had a trip in Innsbruck, Austria. We had fun that day and the weather was perfect for sightseeing and yes, for shopping as well. It was winter but we were lucky to have a sunny 8 degree Celsius temperature when we were in Tyrol’s capital.
A shopping street in Innsbruck, Austria.
We actually visited Innsbruck Christmas market that time. This is a perfect time of the year to experience this wonderful season. During this time, you can go shopping for many products in a Christmas market like the one in Innsbruck. (more…)

Volksfest, a German word is literally translated as people’s festival. You can experience this festival especially during summer season. Volksfest in Germany combines with beer festival or wine festival. I already experienced a lot of this kind of fairs in any parts of Germany especially in Bavaria.
One of the Volksfest I experienced is this so-called German-American Volksfest held inside the US Army base in Hohenfels. They usually celebrate it every year but since last 2013, no festival did ever happen. I heard that the US Army is trying to cost-cut expenses, the reason why this festival did not took place. It is carnival season again in Germany. Germans call it Fasching, Fastnacht or Fasnet. Other German-speaking countries have also other names for carnival. In Germany, fasching or carnival season begins each year on 11 November at 11:11 a.m. Also called as Fifth Season, it finishes on Ash Wednesday of the following year with the main festivities happening around Rosenmontag.

I already experienced a lot of carnivals in the region of Bavaria. One of it is in Dietfurt, a town in the district of Neumarkt in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the river Altmühl, 38 km west of Regensburg. I have been to this town many times especially during carnival season. (more…)

The first weekend of the year is almost ending. I hope you are enjoying it to the fullest. I enjoyed doing some home chores this weekend and I love it. I believed my first week of 2014 is ding great and there were already little things I accomplished the past days.
Back to the main topic about my trip in Austria last December, 2013. I invited a good friend during that trip. We had fun and it was indeed memorable. One of the places we visited was Wattens. This is where you can find the museum called Swarovski Kristallwelten or Swarovski Crystal World. (more…)

Happy New Year 2014! We are finally in a new phase of our lives! It is not easy for me to say goodbye to 2013 because it was indeed a great travel year for me. There were so many memorable and good things that occurred last year. I have to face it now, 2014 is here and I have to be optimistic that this will again be as great or even greater as 2013! I am hoping and praying for it.
The Fisherman’s Bastion in Budapest, Hungary during my third visit in this city last 2013.Why 2013 was an awesome year? It is very simple. According to my travel calendar, I had travelled to 23 countries last year. I can still remember visiting 5 countries within a span of 9 days last spring 2013. Isn’t it fantastic? For a very ordinary person like me, I cannot believed to myself visiting 23 countries in a year. It is such a great achievement for a person who just live a very simple life , but with many great dreams and wishes.

It was another pleasant trip to this beautiful Hungarian capital. It was my third visit to this city and I still want to come back again in the future. Of course, if I am given the chance and finances to visit it again.

This is another European city I wish to visit and I finally got the chance to experience Bratislava. It is the capital city of Slovakia, formerly known as Slovak. Germans call it Pressburg or Preßburg. And yes, I was with this group of German tourists who had a bus trip to Slovakia’s capital.
The months of November and December is the season of Christmas markets in Europe and I believed in many places and cities worldwide. Despite the cold temperature, many tourists visit Europe just to experience this festivity.
The Christmas market is held at the Main Square in Bratislava in front of the Old City Hall.
The Christmas market in Bratislava is unique on its own. Since 1993, Christmas market is held in the city center especially on its Main Square. The weather was very cold during our visit last December 7,2013 but there are still a lot of people roaming around the Christmas market sites. Its Christmas Market was opened since 22 November until 23 December. (more…)
