Hello September! I hope your first week of the month is starting great. I believed, I do and I am grateful about it! I just remember that today is Thursday. I am thinking of posting photographs here from my previous travels. This means that there will be throwback Thursday photo(s) during this day of the week.
View of Dubrovnik, Croatia from the Franjo Tuđman Bridge. It is called in Croatian as Most dr. Franje Tuđmana. It is a cable-stayed bridge carrying the D8 state road at the western approach to Dubrovnik, Croatia across Rijeka Dubrovačka near Port of Gruž.
This image taken in Dubrovnik will by my first entry for Throwback Thursday. It was taken during my holiday in the Balkans or Southeast Europe last spring 2013. I visited 5 countries during that holiday.
Dubrovnik is an interesting city. It is is a stunningly intact walled city on the Adriatic Sea coast of the extreme south of Croatia. I am thankful that one of the places in my bucketlist is finally scratched. If I have the chance to visit it again, I would surely love to.
“Dubrovnik is steeped in stunning architecture and sculptural detail, and boasts spectacular churches, monasteries, museums, and fountains. A multitude of typical towns and excursions include: The Elaphiti Islands, the attractive town of Cavtat, the Konavle valley, Mljet Island, Korčula Island, Ston and Peljesac Peninsula.”
I am slowly off to bed now. Tomorrow is another day at the fun place (workplace). Goodnight Europe and wish everyone a wonderful month of October.

How’s everyone doing out there? I hope everything is great. My rest day is almost over. Well, not actually a rest day because I also did some things at home and ran some errands too. Tomorrow will be another day at work and I still need to finish some things both offline and online. I did not really finish everything but at least, I was able to accomplish some things today and I felt good about it.
Awesome view of “The Spit” at Homer by the sea in Alaska.
Back to the main topic. First of all, I would like to thank a friend and former classmate for this very lovely postcard from Alaska. She also loves to travel like me. Thank you so much my dear Celesty for the very breath-taking view of this postcard. Truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and sweetness. I am glad to have you as friend. (more…)

I finally had the chance to be here again. Life has been so busy the past days. This is also the problem when you are already working but I am thankful that at least something is making me busy now. I don’t have much time anymore to go online. How I wish I can give you more updates of my previous travels. I have a lot to share but time is just so limited these days.
Let me share these photos taken during my birthday trip in Poland recently. One of the places we visited was Wrocław. Germans call it as Breslau. It was quite a long road trip that time from Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany but it was all worth it.
Details in front of the Cathedral.
One of the sights we visited in Wrocław is its Cathedral. It is called Archikatedra św. Jana Chrzciciela in Polish, also known as The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Wrocław. (more…)

Another month is about to come! In some hours from now, I will be saying goodbye to July. I will gladly welcome my birth month. The so-called “Month of Harvest” will be here soon. This also means that I will be turning another year younger..wink!
Hello August and I hope that you will be so kind to me. I believed this will be great month. My intuition is whispering in my ears that it will be a wonderful month for me. I hope for you too!
This year, I will not host a birthday party. I used to do it every year inviting lots of friends and acquaintances but this time I prefer to have a birthday trip. I chose Poland this time. This will be my third visit in this country but this time, it will be more on sightseeing and not on shopping. (more…)

It is summer in Europe and other parts of the globe who are having the same season as well. This is the best time of the year to spend a vacation. No wearing of heavy winter clothes, no boots and other winter accessories that you need. Summer is indeed a great season!
The lobby and reception of Hotel Elizabeth Cebu. One of the hotels we stayed in Cebu City. I had fun here with my siblings and so as in the other hotels we stayed in Cebu.
Sad to say, my summer vacation in the Philippine is over now. How I truly miss home and I wish that I am home at the moment. My father is sick and at the hospital right. I feel bad because I cannot even comfort or hug him, or even stay at his side. I hope one day, we will be united again, forever. (more…)

It is almost two months now since I returned to my second home from a holiday in Asia. I cannot deny it, I am badly missing home now. My family, friends, the escapades, the foods, the travels, window shopping, the fun….being home is always the best. I guess, I haven’t get over yet from that vacation and I am always l reminiscing it from now and then. I have to slowly accept the fact that my recent vacation is over now..so help me Lord of travels!
Interior of Ayala Mall in Cebu City, Philippines.
One of the things I miss is the window shopping that we always do especially in Ayala Mall and SM. Ayala Mall is only some minutes from the hotels we stayed. We did some overnights in Mandarin Hotel, Park Lane, Elizabeth and Quest Hotels. It was like having hotel hopping during that recent holiday. (more…)

How have you been folks? Wow, it is century now since my last update here. I am glad, I am finally backed giving you an update today. The sweet days of my escapes to Asia is finally over! I am still having nightmares until now. Sometime in the middle of the night or during dawn time, I just woke-up and the first thing that always comes to my mind was that awesome fabulous 6-week holiday I had recently in Asia especially in my home Cebu, Philippines. The worst times was during the first two weeks since I returned in Europe. Those were truly terrible nights of not having enough sleep and the feeling that you wake-up in the morning tired and exhausted. I know it was jetlag or maybe that thinking in my subconscious that I was still in Asia. I am thankful, it is getting very better now.
I finally saw my future retirement home after over 4 years of not visiting it. Living in this place will surely make me feel like being on vacation everyday. There are still a lot of things to be done, but I am glad, from time to time, I am continuing this project.
It has been a long time since my previous vacation there. After over four years of not vacationing in my home country Philippines, it did finally happened again. I am thankful to my dearest siblings from the United States of America for making it happened. (more…)

Hey peeps! I am back here. I am very sleepy now but let me share this post before I sign-off. I was browsing one of my external hard drives looking for some photos taken from the past. Those were actually the photos when we attended special events and celebrations. Whether it is a birthday party, anniversary, burial, wedding, etc., everyone needs a proper attire to wear in any of these occasions. (more…)

If you love plants and flowers, this is the perfect time to visit Keukenhof. This place is like heaven to me and it is indeed a paradise. Since I love flowers and gardening, in which I can also say, I am a gardener myself, that visit we had in Keukenhof was really a great experience for me. Simply awesome!
It was an adventure we had in in
Netherlands that time. My very courageous good friend drove from Bavaria, Germany to the different destinations there. Oh well, it was not really a direct driving because we also had a stop-over in Cologne for sightseeing. After that, we proceeded to our friend in Bochum to have an overnight. The next day, we drove to Keukenhof but had a short stop-over in Xanten, Germany to tank the car. We also visited Amsterdam and Solingen that time. Thanks to my lovely travel buddies who were with me in that trip. It was a lot of fun, indeed!
