After visiting Istanbul for the first time last 2011, I had a great feeling that I will visit the biggest city in Turkey again. Indeed after almost 4 years, I was there for the second time. Visiting the only Eurasian city in the planet is an awesome experience for me. I can never have enough of it especially if you only spend a day during your visit. Its historic center which is partially listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site is a must-to-see and to explore. Istanbul is known as Turkish financial and cultural hub and as well as its most populous city.
The garden park at the Sultan Ahmed Mosque or the Blue Mosque. Tulips are still flowering during our visit. You can Turkish women wearing the dress called burka, a black full-body covering, with veil. It was built from 1609 to 1616, during the rule of Ahmed I. Its Külliye contains a tomb of the founder, a madrasah and a hospice.

Hey folks! I am back in the travelsphere and tonight before I go to sleep, I will share to you about my recent cruise in Greece especially that visit in Santorini. I just remembered that I already drafted the photos for this article two weeks ago. See how really busy I am nowadays? I am not only busy with my work but also with offline and online tasks. When I say offline task, I would mean doing home chores and running errands. When I say online tasks, I mean updating or writing articles in my blogs, joining or sharing articles in social media platforms and other online activities a blogger can do.

Let me go back to Santorini. I was very excited the day before because our destination the next day during that cruise is Santorini. This beautiful island in Greece is always in my bucketlist and I always believed that one day I can visit it. (more…)

Hi dear friends. Your own lovely blogger has come with yet another informative article about screen recording software but this time exclusively only for windows users as the main focus would be screen capture for Windows. Holidays are always a fun and it’s even more fun to keep the track and record of the entire journey. As far as I am concerned I am an extrovert kind of person but sometimes in order to explore myself I travel to an unexplored territory and do some crazy things. Actually sometimes it’s good to be crazy. After all one cannot be sensible at all times. Last month I went on one such journey to Alaska. This was the first time I was such close to nature and it was life (more…)

I am back! Yes, vacation is over now and I am already back to reality. I was already home last week and last Monday, I already hit the workplace again. I wish I am still on vacation especially on a cruise trip. I was fully entertained during that cruise in Greece. I only did not experienced many beautiful islands in Greece but also met different people from different countries who also joined that cruise. The crews in that ship were also from different nationalities. Really very interesting!
Leaving the port of Chios in Greece. The weather was sunny that day.
You will never get bored at the swimming hotel. Everyday and every night, there were always live entertainments from dancing to singing, disco, karaoke, various live shows and more. The lead singer of the live shows performed so good. He can also play a guitar and a piano. (more…)

Hey peeps! I hope you had a great Easter week especially last weekend. I am missing home during this season but I have to accept that I live thousands of miles away from home. If I can only fly for an hour, I would surely be home last Easter Sunday. I hope, I can go home for good soon. As of now, I am preparing for that comeback and I really need patience and determination…crossing my fingers!
The Verona Arena, known in Italia as Arena di Verona. It is a Roman amphitheatre in Piazza Bra in Verona, Italy built in 1st century. It is still in use today and is internationally famous for the large-scale opera performances given there. It is one of the best preserved ancient structures of its kind.
I am quite tired today especially from work. I will really be happy if the 6-day shift from work will be over tomorrow. That is why, I would only love to share a quick update about my last visit in Verona. (more…)

Yes, it is finally spring time! One of the best times of the year to travel in Europe especially in the Balkan Region. Before I start with the my travel article about Kotor, a coastal town in Montenegro, please let me first extend my thoughts, prayers and condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the tragedy of Germanwings flight number 4u 9525 that crashed last 24 March 2015. The aircraft, an Airbus A320-200, crashed 100 kilometres (62 mi) northwest of Nice, in the French Alps. It was a sad tragedy knowing that I, myself is a traveler who loves to fly. Rest in peace to all the 144 passengers and six crew members who were killed in that drama.
Kotor Bay is the deepest natural fjord-like bay in the Mediterranean Sea, and the scenery around it including the steep mountains which come almost straight down to the waters edge is spectacular.
Back to the main topic. I miss the year when I traveled most of the time in my whole entire life. I wish it will happen again! 2013 was indeed a great travel year for me, visiting 23 countries, most of them in Europe. I miss that year when all I have to do is travel and travel especially when I find cheap holiday packages. Sometimes I travel with my friends but most of the times, I am a solo traveler. (more…)

I just smile when I remember reading about a post of one of the members of a Nomads Group in facebook. She posted that when she travels, she never buy souvenirs and she don’t want to stay relaxing in a beach. I commented that that everytime I travel, I always brought home with me some souvenirs. Among the few ones are postcards, fridge magnets, travel book guides, keychains and sometimes shirts with the name of the place I visited. I might agree to her that I also don’t want to just take a vacation relaxing in a beach because everytime I go home, I am always at the beach. My retirement home is just along the sea.
A busy pedestrian in the city of Zagreb.
Anyway, let me go back to the main topic. It is about shopping for souvenirs in Zagreb, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Croatia. I had the chance to visit this city last 2013. Speaking of this year, this is so far the most-traveled year I a had in my whole life, visiting 23 countries and many towns and cities especially in Europe. (more…)

Let’s go travel and see the world again! This time, I will let you travel in time in Turkey’s most famous sight named Ephesus. I can’t imagine I was able to walk the way where it is said to be the place where Jesus and the Apostle John had walked before. Isn’t it a great experience visiting one of the famous sights in Turkey?
For all you know Ephesus was an ancient Greek city. It is located in Selçuk in Izmir Province of Turkey. It was recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The Library of Celsus in Ephesus, Turkey. It’s been almost 4 years now since my last visit. The façade of which has been carefully reconstructed from all original pieces, was originally built c. 125 AD in memory of Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus, an Ancient Greek who served as governor of Roman Asia (105–107) in the Roman Empire.

Let’s go travel and see the world again! This time, let us visit another continent. And yes, Africa is the fourth continent I visited last year. The first country I went to was Morocco. I always dream to visit this country. I thought, I can only see it in a travel documentation on Television or in the internet or travel books but hey, I was finally there! Another dream came true! Indeed, I had great and memorable experiences when I visited Morocco especially during that visit in one of its imperial cities called Marrakech.
Painted ceilings; tiled walls; ornate woodwork; classic columns; colourful windows; hanging lanterns; water features; fruit trees in courtyards; and mosaic floors can be seen at the Bahia Palace.
It was a long trip 5-hour from our hotel in Agadir to Marrakech, including the stop-overs we did. Sitting in the bus is not boring for me because I enjoyed the scenery we passed-by along the road. If I am driving, I might not be able to enjoy it because I have to concentrate in driving. We left at 7:30 AM and at around 12:30 AM, the sunshine in Marrakech greeted us. I was with a group of German tourists that time. Thanks to the 3-month German language course I did, I can already speak and understand the language. (more…)

Planning for vacation is very important. It will not only save you time and money but you will also avoid stress when it’s planned ahead of time. This is the perfect time of the year to start searching for the best holiday destination, and there are a lot of choices in out there, but finding the one that will fit both our taste and budget is a little more difficult.
The world is waiting, so I’m currently looking for a great holiday destination for 2015. Then I remembered my German traveling companion. We met last year in Morocco and had a blast traveling through the country, but the whole time she wouldn’t stop talking about how great Fiji was so I emailed her last week. She told me to plan for Fiji for sure and she’s already excited to travel with me again this year. I’m excited too, so now onto the planning. (more…)
