It was the last day of our trip. That was only a 4-days trip but we visited many places in 3 countries including Italy, Switzerland and Austria. From our hotel in Malosco, Trentino, Italy, our bus driver need around 5 hours to reach Achensee. This is the disadvantage of taking bus trips, there are always stops along the way. One thing that also hindered us was when the Italian police stopped us on the highway. I have been to many bus trips in Europe but that was the first time that our bus was stopped by highway police.
In short, it took us around half an hour more time after the policed checked everything. Our bus driver ended up paying some fine and penalty. Not really a good thing!

I was browsing again a travel magazine this afternoon and found some trips to the Baltic countries like Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. If ever I am given the opportunity for a free travel in one of these countries, I will choose first Estonia.
This country is officially called Republic of Estonia. It is considered to be one of the wonderful holiday destinations in the Baltics. Whether you want to spend a city break in Tallinn, a coastal holiday to Saaremaa, relaxing at a spa in Kuressare or a beach vacation in Jurmala, Estonia is simply a place to spend an enchanting holiday.

It is good to reminisce travels from the past. I am trying to browse one of my external hard drives where my travel photos are saved and stored. While browsing, I found some images taken during our sightseeing in Beilngries. It is is a town in the district of Eichstätt, in Bavaria, Germany.

So, the ladies decided to go to the mall to the next city. The weather was so nice that time, sunny but not so hot. Unlike the weather we are having right now and the previous days which is really so hot. We did some window shopping at Donau Mall. Germans call it the Donau Einkaufszentrum located in Regenbsurg.

I always feel good everytime I remember my travels from the past. Visiting over 30 countries worldwide is already a big achievement for me. Let me share one of my travels before.
One of the capital cities I visited in Europe is Prague. I wish I stayed in Luxury Hotel Prague but since we only had a day trip in that city, we really don’t need a place to stay. I was there twice and still wanted to come back. In my next visit I will surely stay in one of the nice hotels there. Like my other travels in major European cities, I already experienced staying in many hotels with 3 to 5 stars rating.

Since Sir Edmund Hillary climbed the highest mountain on earth, taking a trip to Himalaya has been a dream of many adventurers. It is no fluke that Himalayas enjoy a lofty reputation among the places of a lifetime. The fact that Himalayas are immense makes it difficult to decide which sites to visit. Still, each visitor should at least try to experience the following:
Village Walks
There is so much to experience on foot, rather than by car or train in most regions, and the Himalayas is no different. Village walks through Ladakh, Kumaon and Sikkim are beautiful, authentic and allow visitors to get a real ‘feel’ of the area. Himalayan walking tours, taken with a local guide, allow visitors to have a village experience, which can include following in villagers’ own ancient footpaths, meandering through pine forests and terraced fields of rice and wheat. You’ll be greeted by children, excited by your presence and you’ll see how the locals go about their daily tasks – just as they have done for centuries.
Mount Everest
No trip should be complete without a visit to the base camp of the highest mountain the world. Although, this is one of the most frequented sites in Nepal but many tourists feel an amazing urge to climb the mountain. Amazingly, the urge to conquer Mount Everest is so great that many climbers, once came to the base camp as ordinary visitors, without a real interest of mountaineering. (more…)
