Went Shopping in Florence

Yes, I did went shopping in Florence! How I wish I have more time to  go shopping there because there are some things I was looking for. Florence  is not only a great historic city to  visit in Italy but it is also a great place for shopping.  Sad to say, my time was limited and I was not able to buy  tapestry for my sisters and a good  friend.

Such a Fine Sunny Day in Pisa, Italy

I set my alarm at 7:00 in the morning that day!  Although  I still  want to  sleep longer that morning I decided  to wake-up earlier because I want to do some adventure in Pietrasanta. Our  sightseeing in Pisa will be in the afternoon so I have the whole morning  available to do or to go wherever I want. I decided to  take a trip to Pietrasanta but I will share about  this in my next post.

For now, let me share a bit about our half-day trip to Pisa.  Our bus left at the hotel at around 13:45 or 1:45 PM. It was not really a long journey from our 3-star hotel in Marina di Pietrasanta to Pisa.   Normally, it is only around 40 minutes drive there but it took us almost 2 hours because our  bus driver was lost.  Not really lost but he was not able to find the so-called checkpoint where the bus must park. It is  a  big   parking lot where all the  buses and cars  should park and have to pay a huge  amount for parking. (more…)

Visit to the Spanish Village, Os de Civís

It was our fourth day of travel.  We stayed in a 4-star hotel in Andorra named Andorra Center. One thing I miss in that hotel are the delicious and sumptuous foods served  during breakfast and dinner.  I also have a big room even though I was alone. That is quite an advantage for me which gives more comfort.  That day, we will be visiting two places named Os de Civís and La Seu d’Urgell. Both are located in Catalonia, Spain.

After the breakfast, I went back to my hotel room to brush my teeth and get my handbag and my camera bag. I was ready then before 9:00 in the morning because the bus will leave at 9:00 AM. A Sunny Winter Day in Aranjuez, Spain

So many beautiful places and countries to visit in this planet earth but sometimes it is difficult to travel if some things are missing. I believed, you know what I mean with this!

First and foremost, you need to have the money to travel. If you are working, you can’t also travel anytime and anywhere especially if you cannot get a vacation leave from your job. You might have the money but you don’t have the time to travel. If you are not working, you probably have the time to travel but you don’t have the finances to travel. It is an irony sometimes. Isn’t it?

Wonderful Days in Budva, Montenegro

It was so far a superb trip I had last spring of this year. I finally decided to book this trip to the Balkan Peninsula, also known as the Southeast Europe. We visited 5 countries that time including Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Montenegro for a span of 9 days. Since the single room charge was not so expensive, the reason why  I decided  to book the  trip. It was indeed a good decision.

The Dancing Girl Statue in Budva

I decided to go walking that afternoon in Budva. This lovely town is considered to be centre of Montenegro’s tourism. It is also well known for its sandy beaches, diverse nightlife, and examples of Mediterranean architecture.

I found this statue in a travel magazine in my hotel room. The statue of the so-called “Dancing Girl Statue”. I asked some of the tourists in the group where I went traveling that time. They said that the statue is just located at the back of our 4-star hotel Avala, along the beach.
