2014 is just starting. I believed many of you are already starting to plan for your vacation this year. The places you will be visiting, the budget you set aside for your holiday, the accommodation that fits your needs and budget, are only some of the things you consider when you travel.
Each traveler has a purpose why he or she goes traveling. It might be for recreation purposes, tourism, relaxation, holiday to visit family or friends, to volunteer for charity, business travel, religious pilgrimage trip and other purposes that will benefit a traveler.

Where did the word travel originated?
According to wikipedia, the origin of the word “travel” is most likely lost to history. The term “travel” may originate from the Old French word travail. According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, the first known use of the word travel was in the 14th century. It also states that the word comes from Middle English travailen, travelen (which means to torment, labor, strive, journey) and earlier from Old French travailler (which means to work strenuously, toil).
