It is a historic city dating back being at least 2,000 years when it gained prominence as a Roman city. It hosted the 1992 Olympic Games which brought a massive upturn in its tourism industry.

Barcelona is one of the world’s major global cities. It is one of the world’s leading tourist, economic and cultural centers. No wonder many tourists around the world including myself would love to visit it.

The La Plaça de Catalunya is also a great area if you want to see fountains and statues and the shops that surround it. It is the favourite meeting place of both locals and tourists.
