Listening to the Choir in Budapest Christmas Market
It was another pleasant trip to this beautiful Hungarian capital. It was my third visit to this city and I still want to come back again in the future. Of course, if I am given the chance and finances to visit it again.
My recent trip was quite a special one because I was able to witness its Christmas markets. There are actually a lot of Christmas markets scattered around the city.
Here are the list of its locations:

Budapest Basilica Christmas Market : Dec. 1, 2013 – Jan 1, 2014 (crafts stalls until Dec 31)
Budapest Basilica Christmas Market : Dec. 1, 2013 – Dec. 31, 2013 (crafts stalls until Dec 24)
Budapest Nutcracker Festival at the Budapest Opera House: Nov. 30, 2013 – Dec. 31, 2013
Christmas Market at the Basilica Square in Budapest, Hungary.
There are a lot of activities held during this season. There are many concerts during the Advent period, choir concerts, chamber music concerts, organ concerts, world music, jazz, swing, etc. I am trying to guess some of the musicians got some of their musical instruments like a mouthpiece case at musicians friend. This is a good site to shop for all your musical gadgets and instruments.
During my visit in Budapest, I witnessed a group of choir singing at the Cathedral Square. I might not be able to understand their language but I know that some and probably most of their songs were especially Christmas carols.
I was happy and contented witnessing this event held in one of the joyful season of the year, the Christmas season. The market is almost ending now. I believed tourists and guests who witnessed the Christmas markets in Budapest had an unforgettable and great time in this lovely capital of Hungary. Yes, I did!
Have a wonderful Christmas celebration to one and all!
