Memorable Days in Lourdes, France
That was indeed a memorable trip in Lourdes, France! after visiting Andorra and some parts of Catalonia, Spain, our next destination during that 8-days trip was Lourdes.

According to my travel diary, (yes, I already started to write a journal about my travels since the beginning of this year) it was Day 6 when we arrived to the famous pilgrimage market town of Lourdes. It was quite a long trip from our hotel in Andorra la Vella but I did not felt bored during the trip because you can see a lot of beautiful sights along the way.

I set-up my alarm so early in the morning last July 8, 2013 because our bus will be leaving at 7:30 AM. I woke-up at 5:50 AM to get ready fixing myself and finalize my luggage. At 6:45 AM our breakfast started in Andorra Center, the 4-star hotel where we stayed in Andorra’s capital for 4 days. After taking our breakfast, I went back to my room to brush and teeth and double check if there were stuffs I left in the closet or cabinets. I always do that making sure that I will not forget anything.
At around 1:50 in the afternoon, we already arrived in Lourdes, France. Our bus driver did not found immediately our hotel and it took us almost an hour to get there. We kept on turning around and around until we found it. The streets in Lourdes are narrow but thanks to our very good and friendly bus driver who always brought us safe to our destinations and back to our hotel.
At around 3:00 PM, our tour guide met us at the hotel lobby because our tour around the town including the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. It should be a 3-hour tour but I guesses our tour guide wanted to show us more of the town share almost everything to us.
I can conclude, it was indeed a memorable trip I had in Lourdes, France. It was almost perfect with good tour guides, careful bus driver, nice group of German people I travelled with and lovely places we visited. Lourdes is where I celebrated my 10-years of living in Europe. I am so thankful to visit many places in Europe and other parts of the globe being an expat for 10 years.

Life is simply great and I am truly thankful to God for everything. I still have a lot of travel experiences to share. I hope I will be given the knowledge and wisdom to slowly share it one by one! For now, enjoy the snapshots I took from my travel to Lourdes, France.
See you in my next update. Take care folks and stay happy and blessed!
